Restaurants in Washington DC with Tasting Menus

If you’re missing those spectacular tasting menus of Rogue 24, with 24 courses, or 10 courses, then here are some suggestions for other restaurants to visit that also offer a tasting menu that you can try. All these restaurants are also in the Washington DC area.

2941 Restaurant

Visit 2941 Restaurant to sample Chef Bertrand Chemel’s five course tasting menu. This menu changes on a daily basis. They also have an extensive wine list and some gorgeous signature cocktails.

Little Serow

Little Serow is co-owned by chef Johnny Monis. The food is mainly Thai and they don’t take reservations. It’s strictly first come first served. So if you want to get a table, you need to get there early and expect to queue! it’s worth it though, this restaurant gets some fantastic reviews.

G by Mike Isabella

G by Mike Isabella serbes a tasting menu on a Sunday. They call their Sunday tasting menu Sunday Gravy. The course come out as sharing platters so it’s a fun experience for a group. This is served from 6pm until 10pm every Sunday.


Fine Italian dishes are served up to you in the La Cucina six course tasting menu at Nick Stefanelli’s Massaria restaurant.


Equinox on Connecticut Avenue, offers several different tasting menus and you can also choose to have some great wines paired with your menu. What this restaurant offers that makes it a little different from others is that they offer a vegan tasting menu. Often with tasting menus being set menus, vegans and vegetarians can miss out because they all feature meat to some extent. Not so at Equinox. The vegan tasting menu contains no meat, fish or dairy products.


At Metier you can try some really exciting dishes as part of the 7 course tasting menu from menu Eric Ziebold. You also get hors d’oeuvres before your meal even starts.

Iron Gate

At Iron Gate you can choose between a six course and a four course tasting menu, prepared by Chef Tony Chittum. The food served is inspired by Greek and Italian cuisine and it’s a lovely restaurant, perfect for a romantic meal. You can also opt for a beverage pairing with your tasting menu meal.
